Stuff that I just notice as I go about my day! Never know what it may be!
You have to always think about what YOU bring into the kennel with you....
This is a great idea I came up with a few years ago. Training a new dog/puppy to use an auto dog feeder can be tricky. You need to make sure they all know before they move to kennels with the bigger dogs.
These beds are great for many reasons all over the kennel, but if you have short little pups like I do, this is a quick tip so they can be used as a potential birthing bed.
If anyone, even you, is working on, in, near the building, especially the walls outside the nursery, separate moms and pups before you start working. Mom's can panic and kill their babies. (And eat them!!!)
The noise makes them feel like they are being attacked and will do anything to protect themselves and their puppies.
Lesson I learned the hard way. The mom killed 5 week old puppies because the puppies kept trying to walk over towards the worker!!!. I came back and the full pen of puppies was down to one alive and a few parts of the others. BAD DAY!!!!! We won't mention that the worker was too stupid to report to me that the mom was upset!!!! All he did was kept working even though he heard her killing them!!!!!!
When selecting breed, here are a few suggestions based on your lifestyle.
People ask what I use for fly control. This has to do with fly control inside....my outside setup with the no clean kennels doesn't have flies!!!
