What to do with dead puppies

The stuff others won't tell you. I know I'm going to get some negative feedback on this one, but just stating the facts folks. Definitely the hardest part of the business.

Well the time is almost here. Here is a list of the must haves I make sure are on hand. This is actually not a "comprehensive" list, because you never know what can go wrong. This is just the minimal I like to make sure is there for every litter.

I suggest you get in the habit of buying in bulk. Having storage for this stuff is much more important than storing stuff for goody bags!

Whelping Area Option 1

This is just one of the many ways you can set up your moms to have babies. These is no one right way. This is just my preference.

Note: If you do use shavings, they must be Pine and they must be Fine. No Cedar, and no large/flake shavings. (Get at farm supply for buying in bulk.)

Whelping Area Option 2-Larger Dogs

When whelping a larger dog, the area needs to be very different than that of a small dog.
